#7 - Jerry West

Jerry Alan West was born on May 28th, 1938. West was one of the few players to play for a single franchise throughout his entire career (Los Angeles Lakers). One of West's nicknames was "Mr Clutch" because of his natural ability to make big time plays and/or shots. Jerry West was a standout at his highschool called East Bank and also at West Virginia University leading them to the 1959 NCAA Championship game and winning MVP despite their loss. Under his reign as a general manager the Los Angeles Lakers went on to win 7 NBA Championships.
