#4 - Magic Johnson
Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. was born on August 14, 1959. Magic Johnson was recruited to many top ranked colleges but decided to play close to home. He ended up attending Michigan State. During his stay at Michigan State Magic averaged 17 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game as a freshman. The following year they made it to the finals and beat Indiana state which had his future rival Larry Bird. Magic retired from the NBA having 17 707 points (19.5 ppg), 6 559 rebounds (7.2 rpg) and 10 141 assists (11.2 apg). Magic was also a 5 time NBA Champion, 3 time NBA MVP, and 12 time NBA All-Star.Magic Johnson Statistics:
